There was a message on nextdoor.co.uk on about 2nd February 2023 from a ladý saying she had found a deceased black & white cat, near the Roebuck Inn & had taken it to vets, not micro chipped.

Hello, i foud something on facebook - STILL TRYING TO LOCATE OWNER OF THIS POOR BOY If there is the slightest chance this could be your boy please can you check with pets at home. I know its not a nice thing to go and see but breaks my heart no owner has come forward for him ••••••••••••••••••••••• Black and white cat hit on unwin road junction with Godfrey close at 13:40 ish , male neutered, all black face, large ears, white chest and all four white socks, little white dot under right eye and bridge of nose. I wasn't home but have just arrived into the street and was messaged all the info. Chipped but not registered. Taken to pets at home. Will keep him for 14 days. Checked with someone from unwin place and she said she saw it before the incident and didn't recognise it as a usual one from our area. Please all check if you think it could be yours RIP fur baby

There is a post on lost and found Pets stevenage posted by a Darren baxter. Black and white cat keeps visiting them and feeding on their cats food they have in their outdoor bit for their cats. Cat looks abit scruffy I believe its a male. Location shephall/ unwin road and apparently daily
