Tuffers came home at 9.00pm last night :-) he was dusty, hungry and a bit jumpy but otherwise fine. Thank you for your help.

Tuffers our cat has been back, but has gone again. It is very strange. This is completely new behaviour for him and I am not sure what to make of it at all. When he came home his coat was dirty and he smelt of creosote so at first we thought he had been trapped in somewhere and everything would return to normal. However, after a good feed and some fuss, he went missing again for 24 hours. When he returned we then kept him in for a couple of days until he seemed back to normal, his coat was nice and healthy again. He really does not like to be kept indoors all the time so we let him go out, and he returned, but left again on Sunday morning and we have not seen him since. To add to the mystery there are also two more cats missing from homes in the area.

Tuffers has come home again, he was missing for another week and came home thirsty, dirty, and smelling of something like creosote again. This is very strange because it is totally out of character for Tuffers. Even odder is that including Tuffers this is now the fourth cat that I have heard of in this area to go missing.Happily though Tuffers is now back with us his fur is back to being beautiful and he seems to be settling in well again.
