Flo was missing for 7 days. We had been searching quite a large range around our house. The day after putting some posters up we received a call to say she'd been seen a few days earlier in a garden just one street over. She had fled their garden in a panic when they approached. We narrowed our search area to within a few hundred metres of where she had been spotted and stayed in one place for much longer waiting patiently. On the second day of searching the area she appeared behind a gate in response to me tapping on a food bowl for several minutes. I lured her in with tuna place through the gate and sat on the ground a couple of metres away talking to her. She was very nervous but after about 5 minutes she was curious enough to approach me for a stroke.
