After putting posters in letterboxes, I had two sightings of her on a roof and someone called to say she was there so had to go and rescue her. So think she was stuck up there but is home now thankfully.

If you decide to keep your cat indoors, as well as neutering / spaying to remove the need for roaming, microchipping, and attaching a cat tracker, you could consider transitioning an outdoor cat to indoor life https://www.animalhumanesociety.org/resource/transitioning-outdoor-cat-indoor-life You can even adapt your garden to keep your cat from roaming further https://protectapet.com/blogs/blog/5-ways-to-cat-proof-your-garden#:~:text=Cat%20Fencetop%20Barriers%20fit%20neatly,to%20suit%20your%20outdoor%20space. CAT TRACKERS ADVICE - Cat trackers that seem popular are Tractive (subscription GPS), AirTag (bounces off other Apple devices, no subscription, long battery life) and Tabcat (no subscription, longish battery life, not GPS but good if your cat hasn’t gone too far). Here's some cat tracker info from Mark A. - London, England. - PLEASE, EVERYONE, GET A GPS OR RF TRACKER!!! There are many available online, and GPS is better than standard Bluetooth trackers. In fact, please avoid Bluetooth trackers if you really care about your pet. They are only any good for a very limited distance. And Air Tags are only good if everyone around you has an Apple phone! GPS subscription fees can vary greatly, so shop around. I bought some of these RF trackers as a backup if the GPS fails, and they are very good if your cat doesn't roam too far. It's an expensive outlay, but there's two in a pack, there's no subscription and they last a long time. So far, they've been very good. They are so small that I have the RF tracker on the collar with the GPS tracker. RF TRACKER: Tabcat v2 Cat/Kitten Tracker - More accurate than GPS - No monthly subscription, smallest, lightest tracker tags: https://amzn.eu/d/0ihkvUc3 Funnily enough, as I write this, I have just recovered one of my cats who was stuck in a shed a few gardens away. The GPS tracker told me roughly where he was on the app, and the RF tracker got me to his exact location. Without these I may never have found him. I'm using "Weenect" GPS trackers on both my cats. So far they have worked brilliantly. They have been reliable and relatively accurate, and you can call them and make them vibrate to train your cat to come home. They also have one of the cheapest subscriptions, currently at £9.99 per month. And they have really good customer service, but they're based in France so their hours are slightly different. Call them first on this number 02070391906 and ask them if they have a discount code. They gave me one for 20% off. Shop here: https://www.weenect.com/uk/en/gps-cat-tracker/ Just do some googling and make sure you read the reviews. Some GPS trackers work better in different areas to others. And the monthly subscription prices can fluctuate a lot so make sure you're aware of how much they will cost per month.
