Lost cat: Black cat called Megellan - Abingdon area, Oxfordshire

Name:	Megellan
Breed & Species:	Moggy (short haired) cat
Colour:	Black
Went missing:	14 years ago (10 July 2009 at around 18:00hrs)
Location:	Faringdon Rd, Oxfordshire OX14 1, UK
Health:	Healthy
Age:	20 years old
Sex:	Female
Collar:	No
Microchipped:	No
Markings:	She has a black mark partially across her nose.
Circumstances:	We noticed she wasn't around after a few days and also her sister was making a lot of noise wanting attention. Megellan spent a lot time in her bed or outside so we didn't see her much except morning and evening. We are not sure exactly when she disappeared.
Other info:	She is neutered and has medium length hair which molts a lot. She is quite nervous to strangers but is very affectionate and has an unusually loud purr. She was last seen in Abingdon roughly in the middle of July (10th ish) She has gone wandering before but only a for a few days. Please call 01235 528550 if you have any information

Amazing! Megellan's owners report that she has just turned up all by herself at the house! She's a little thin but otherwise in good health.I think this will give hope to many people who have missing cats - even after 68 days there's a still chance they'll come home.This report is now closed.
