Hi, Just to let you all know. I found Marmite this week. :o) He'd been gone for over 2 weeks and had gone about a mile and a half. A kind lady called me and said she'd seen a cat matching his description outside her house. I went down there after work and there he was wandering about! He meowed a lot when I called him but he was scared to come out from under a bush until we got some food. He still wasn't very happy about putting him in the cat box. I'm so glad to have him home but being a very outdoors cat he's been scrayching at the front doors and windows already. Has anyone any ideas about when and how to approach letting him out for real this time?

Hi Kim,That's great news! Over 2 weeks and you got him home? Had you put posters up in the area? Here's some useful advice on helping your cat to settle in to a new home: http://www.helpiammoving.com/moving_house/moving_cats.php .Best wishes,Nick

Thanks Nick! Yes I put lots of posters up over Abingdon and also leaflets through doors in mnay of the streets surrounding my house. Went out calling him a lot, and chatted to people to spread the word. Was all worth the effort in the end! I can't believe it! Thanks for the link!
