Lost cat: Ginger & white cat called Bertie - Abingdon area, Oxfordshire

LOST

Name:	Bertie
Breed & Species:	Domestic Shorthair (DSH) cat
Colour:	Ginger & white
Went missing:	8 years ago (25 January 2016 at around 06:00hrs)
Location:	Brookside, Abingdon, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK
Health:	Healthy
Age:	11 years old
Sex:	Neutered Male
Collar:	Blue
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	He has stripped markings on both back legs. He has white feet. He has ring marking on his tail. Bertie is overweight.
Circumstances:	Bertie was last seen leaving our house and running across the road to our neighbours driveway.
Other info:	Last weight recorded in late December 2015 was 5.8kg. Bertie is very timed. He does not like strangers or children. Bertie is registered with boundary vets in north Abingdon. Both ambivalent and frasers have been notified that Bertie is missing. He was last seen outside our house at 6am. He has never gone missing before.

Are there any photos of this cat? I saw a ginger and white cat on my walk this evening, but it's a long way from the owner's home (Radley Road).

I went out looking for Bertie again at 7pm and I heard him meaow near to our home by a stream. The area was very overgrown with brambles and the water levels were high due to the weather conditions. My neighbours were all very helpful helping me get to Bertie who was in distress. Bertie managed to get free so I could bring him home. Bertie was very s armed and nervous when he got home. I took him to the vets who gave him the all clear. Bertie is getting stronger each day.
