Hey, Our 2 year old black cat went missing for 4 days 3 weeks ago. We eventually found him stuck on a building site scaffolding. He couldnt get down as the windows were bricked and he was stuck 6 metres high. desperately trying to get down when we saw him. had to climb up and get him. We found him walking around calling his name at about midnight. This was in Fulham. Looking at your streets and local area on google maps - check with the hardware store at the end of the street, insist that you want to look personally, keep calling his name - dont be embarrassed to yell. Check ALL the buidling sites in your area, check more than once, I had checked the same place twice and he didnt call back until night time when he heard our voices. Whatever you do do not give up - our cat survived on his instincts, eating mice - when he came home he started catching and eating them! never did this before, just played with him. So in terms of food he should be ok. - put flyers and posters up ofcourse too, we got lots of callers and messages of support. The best time we found to look for our cat was very early in the morning 4am or very late at night after 10.30pm. This way he can hear you call and wont be too scared to come out if he recognises your voice. If your cat had a strong routine of coming home everyday at a certain time and has not come back - he is almost certainly stuck somewhere. Counter-intuitive advice from people saying ''its a cat and cats do this, he will come back'' is utter bollocks, ignore these people. Go out and look for him, cats love home. You will have to put in the hours of walking around. Good luck, do not give up, you have to put in the work and walk at least 4 hours a day, we will keep our eyes over in Fulham.

also check trees! And at night use a powerful torch to be able to see his eyes under cars and far away - spread his litter in a half mile radius of the house, if he is lost he can smell his scent and work his way back. do this when its dry, we did it in a half mile radius around our home.

Thanks Limtu - really appreciate your comments. We do have a few building sites in the area so will ensure we check those thoroughly tonight and in the day. We will keep putting in the work of course and hope we find him or he makes it back
