Anyone who has lost a cat in the area covered by Gedling Council........please pester them on a daily basis! I lost my beautiful cat approx. 18 months ago and was told every day that no, nothing had been found. However I was persistent and after a friend's daughter helped me by putting up posters, was contacted by a local man saying that he had seen a Gedling Council truck pick up a little body. I then contacted Gedling AGAIN and was told the same thing but I presented them with the evidence of having been seen and INSISTED they check their deep freeze store and my darling boy was there! What infuriated me even more was that he was microchipped but although they had a scanner, they had not bothered to check his little body. Please God this does not happen to your little baby but as all us pet lovers know, it is better to know than be forever wondering. So as I say, just pester them because they are grossly neglectful and uncaring. Apparently, they do not even bother to record every pickup!

Just to add to my previous notes......my little cat was picked up the day he went missing but it took me a whole WEEK of torment before I found out what happened. I would also add that one EXTREMELY kind Council worker brought Charlie home and buried him in my back garden for me bless him.

He was found safe and is now at home. I have a problem logging in my account and I don’t know how to take the advert off
