I left the main door to the flats open and my flat door I left open on the chain, I put his food inside my flat near the door with his scent close to it, I woke up because I heard noise and there he was! Safe and well home :) I sprinkled his scent outside the flat when he was missing, put our clothes out, called his name between 2am-5am and informed neighbours and others. We also sprinkled our urine around the flat on the grass outside, I do believe all of doing that helped him come home, it was his first adventure outside, I'm so happy he is home! :)
