Mia returned home yesterday night, after 13 days, at 21:07 (on CCTV). She came back malnourished, without her kittens that might be around 10 days old. (She had last been seen on the 16th of May by a Lady in the neighbourhood and was still pregnant by then). She as well came back without her collar. I have everything on camera and took pictures as well. Mia is very happy being back, eating and drinking fine, but quite worn down. She had no urge at all going back outside and is sleeping in our bed again. Yesterday morning I called some vets again here in Ashford and they put her on file, watching out for her and eventually her kittens. I as well posted her on more sites again and mentioned that she might be inside somewhere. I'm wondering now if she really would have had her kittens outside in the wild and they didn't make it, or somebody having her kittens now and let her go as I put on an intensive search. She never lost her collar in the past either, I only replace it from time to time to keep it looking neat. Mia usually always responds if I call her and comes back, but this wasn't the case til yesterday. I kept on calling for quite some time again and not too long after she was at the window. Wonder, if some neighbours would know more about it, but they haven't talked to me since I distributed the flyers. (I'm aware that some Lady kept her inside a couple times, but I got no response from her this time). Wait and see, I will now be looking for the lost collar, keeping my poor Mia inside and have her spayed. She appeared very stressed out and worn down yesterday. Late night I got her first purrs and she snuggled right next to me in my arm all night long. It breaks my heart thinking what she must have been through, as well as her kittens.
