Sorry you cat is lost. Please be aware a man is making hoax calls claiming to be an RSPCA vet and asking for money. I hope you get your cat back soon.

Experienced a hoax this morning; claiming my cat had been found. Phone cut off before they asked for money, but know it's a hoax. Very sad indeed!

I an sorry. He found me warning people and sent a nasty message. I think Petsreunited should warn people when they add their lost pet.

He joined under a false name and I sent the message to Petsreunited via Facebook and Twitter and email. He just told me to ***** off in the comments a few times on different pages I had warned people on.

The person who i spoke to; didn't ask for money before they hung up... I was in floods of tears (as i thought i was going to be reunited with my cat) so i ended up passing the phone to my husband. The bloke asked a few qustions and then hung up. Not sure if he knew he wouldn't be able to scam my husband and gave up... but they never rang back, so couldnt have been genuine.

Am so sorry. I have shared your post on Twitter a d asked other people to share too. It’s worth also checking with the microchip database and make sure they are aware and have your correct details.
