Mark, just had a report of a similar looking cat going into the garden of no. 11 Sussex Drive. The caller wasn't sure though as she said there are quite a few black s cats in that area.Nick

Thanks for the report Nick & Number 11, no sign of Pepper as yet :-( but please keep your eye's open. My Partner and Daughter have been asking around and popping the poster through a few doors so please keep an eye open and check your sheds and garages as the weekend Pepper went missing was hot and you may have had your mower out. There are a lot of black cats in the neighbourhood though Pepper is visibly still young (9 months old) and has no collar. Please keep up the good work and keep your eyes open.

Thanks for your call this morning Nick.I went to have a look straight away and found exactly where the caller thought he had seen Pepper. Unfortunately I went for a long walk and couldn't find her anywhere. I did find a black cat with no collar but with slightly longer hair so perhaps this is who he saw?Such a shame but we really appreciate your help and its so nice to know people are looking out for her, hopefully she will come home soon.Letty

Hi everyoneWe had a visit from the three boys who thought they had seen Pepper yesterday evening. They were still adamant that the cat they saw was her. They had actually taken a photo of the cat and showed me, it really looked a lot like her and not the one I had seen down there so we are now feeling hopeful that she is close by but perhaps cant find her way home. They told me that she had actually entered the school and let the children pick her up and feed her! If anyone is in/around the Harwick School area PLEASE look out for our small black cat and let us/animal finders know straight away! She is micro chipped so a vet could scan and check she is ours although I am pretty sure we would recognise her if we saw her! (And hopefully she would recognise us too!) Thanks again to everyone who is keeping an eye out for her!Letty

We are happy to report Pepper has now been found by some very Helpful catowners in Rosedale avenue who got her checked out at Westbar Vets who scanned her for her chip and called us! We'd like to send a big thank you out to all who helped in the search for Pepper, the young boys who called and came and showed us a phone pic, those who'd let us know she'd been spotted, the school who said they'd keep an eye open for her, the chip people, and friends and family who've all kept us hoping she'd turn up. A big thank you to Animal Finders too, as without you we wouldn't have got the message out and wouldn't have had the posters to pass out to the neighborhood or the feedback and sightings of her. You're a great service that I think should be provided as part of getting your animal chipped!Pepper doesn't appear to be fazed by her journey and looks well fed! She has had a welcome home plate of tuna and her brother and sister have both given her a good wash and sniffed her over and she is now fast asleep probably dreaming about her big adventure.Thank you everyone, You have made us and the kids very happy and brought a happy outcome to a week of worry! If ever there was a question to anyone of whether to have your animals chipped then I think this should firm up your choice to do so!

Hi Mark & Letty,Really pleased you got Pepper home. Thanks for the nice things you've said about Animal Finders. Would you be happy to say those things in front of a video camera? We're in the process of creating some short video testimonials to go on the website...?NickNick

Hi Nick,We'd love to help, though both of us are a little camera shy, so would like to offer our daughter Aimee (3 & 1/2) and son Noah (1 1/2) who both think it's wonderful Pepper's back. Aimee can speak very well & clearly and I am sure she'd be able to say something for the camera, you might be able to get a short "it's great" or "thankyou" from Noah also. Please let me know if this helps or if there's anything else we can do.Thanks again,Mark
