I'm so sorry to see this sweet boy is missing! We've often seen him on our walks, usually on the footpath by the churchyard - he sometimes slinks into the underbrush on the bank between the footpath and the road. I'm sure you've already searched high and low, but if he's hurt, he may be hiding in that brush? I hope you find him!

Thank you @athenajartuso. He seems to have won many admirers since we moved to the village. We have walked the roads and verges, but no sign at all. It seems all the stranger that he appears to have gone missing in daytime not at night.

Thanks again for your message. He re-appeared last night at 9.30. Very hungry but no sign of any injury. No doubt he'll soon be back to all his old haunts. Kind regards David

I'm SO glad to hear this! I was literally just thinking about him and wondering if you'd located him, thanks for letting me know he's safe!

He wandered back in last night, starving but unharmed and wondering what all the fuss was about. Wolfed down a whole packet and allowed a bit of grooming then caught up on his sleep!
