Does this cat have a short tail? Please thank you

Hi my cat is missing from SM7. He has a short tail (around 4 inches) and is chipped.

I didn't notice that it was short - but Ill look. They problem I have is that I can see this cat is lost but I cant catch him- Im really allergic to them! The cat has been going in and out of the houses on Ferndale rd in banstead. My neighbor said he would catch him and take him to a vet or other suitable place but he hasn't :( I don't know what to do because the poor thing looks hungry - I tried to give it some tuna etc but my husband said it would encourage it not to go home- but I think hes lost. I have no way to catch him because I cant touch him or trap in in my kitchen because Im allergic and so is my toddler. I looked on line to see if there as some one who would come out but I guess its hard if they are not caught when they come.

Someone has put a poster up on our road I think looking for the same cat. When I call the number it's a protected one though so I can't get through! Any ideas!?

Hi, I saw this cat come out of your next door neighbours this evening. It doesn’t have a short tail and is not Kafka unfortunately. I can see it has a mark around it’s neck like it has been wearing a collar for a while/recently. Looks like an old cat, possibly with hip problem. How do you know it’s not chipped- has it been scanned? There is a vet on Brighton Road (Kriek and Gibson open til 7pm) that could scan it. Cats protection may be able to trap it or give you advice. I’m happy to help too.

Has the owner been found yet? Did someone take it to be scanned?

Did this cat's owner get found? It's just he looks a lot like my cat Cinnaman who disappeared in May 2017. He was neutered and chipped, had a damaged tip to one ear and speckled lips. I'm in Beddington Lane. Thank you
