There is a male grey cat that lives somewhere in The Drive. He's short haired. Pic might help. He's often seen towards the High St end. He's also know to come into cat flaps!

That figures. I am sure this is a cat I almost'owned' when he was about 6 mo old. It 9 mo I had him castrated and injected and eventually found he lived in the Drive near High St. I took him there and never saw him again. That is many years ago but I am sure it is him. A friend has offered to put notes through doors in that row of houses. My no is 02086503659

Makes sense. There was a time he would come in to us but we cat proofed our garden after a loss. I do see him regularly though and he always seems in good health. Perhaps he's home now ??

I am at 49 Rectory Road which is the wrong end of The Drive but gardens back on to it. He came again today not quite as ravenous. I will try to add a photo. I think he has been bitten at the root of the tail so maybe he was chased and got disoriented. Cynthia Reid

Oh dear. Hope he is OK. Let us know how it goes. I also volunteer at a cat rescue charity if that helps. Could be as you say he's got a bit lost.

The postal campaign worked and he lives at 16. I think he has an army of feeders who are now limited to how many items they can order, so he is widening his area - watch out you're next!

Owner identified by posting notes through local letter boxes - I knew roughly where cat lived. Turns out cat was not lost, just expanding his pickup points for extra meals (very greedy and well looked after)

Thanks Mark, I am glad to know he is OK as I had to shoot him with a water gun when he was in my room. I felt bad about it but my own cat was getting frantic with fear. He came back to the garden once or twice then gave up - no food!
