LOST CAT: Black & white cat called Didgi - Bicester area, Oxfordshire

My wonderful neighbor phoned us on Friday morn as soon as she saw this post. It was a very difficult call for Pat to make as she had to tell us that she saw a black cat in the road outside our home on Wed & it broke her heart to know that her call would break my heart. But I thank her from the bottom of my heart because she was also able to tell us who tended to Didgi. It was another neighbor, a wonderful man named Paul, who picked up our Didgi & took him to the vet. After speaking with Paul, we learned that he took him to The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury. Thank YOU, Pat Hare! I love you so much for caring enough to make that call ... xo

The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury was alerted by Animal Finders on Fri about our missing Didgi. I then phoned & left a voicemail message for The Hart Vets, left a message on their Facebook page, & even tweeted them @HartVets yesterday, but not one reply from them have I received.

I can now report, however, that my husband has been able to make contact with The Hart Veterinary Centre in Bicester & Aylesbury; & has regrettably confirmed that the cat brought in was, in fact, my Didgi. With more sadness & grief in my heart than I can find words for, I have to tell you that my SWEET Didgi will not be coming home to me ...

MissLisa, i'm so sorry to read about your poor baby boy, he was obviously much loved by you. Please take a bit of comfort that you do know what has happened to him, even tho it is the worst news, as there is nothing worse than not knowing. He was a very lucky cat to be so much loved. I totally know how distraught you are feeling as i have been through the same tragic thing and i love my babies more than anything, Best wishes Kaye x

We're very sad to hear your news about Didgi. He looked like a wonderful little companion and I'm sure he'll be greatly missed. I'll close off his report - he'll move into the 'In Loving Memory' section.Nick
