Amazingly, after >2yrs away, Nonu was returned to us today. He had evidently been living rough but fed and cared for Caroline (and probably also by others in North Aston, judging from his rotund appearance) for at least the last 6 months. It shows the value of microchipping, without which we would never have been re-united as he was several miles from home. Thanks again to Caroline for taking him to the vets. It's incredible that he survived the very cold winter of 2012 when he went missing in the snow. It shows how resourceful cats can be.
