Still no sign or sightings of Maggie. Posters are up all over the place. Any ideas?

I genuinely think I might have seen this dog. I was out jogging very early on wednesday morning, I'd stopped to look at the village noticeboard and so I noticed the poster. A bit later I was jogging across the far side of the village green which is the dark bit between Tudors close and Sandstone close (it's hard to make a circuit to jog otherwise), out of the shadows came a dog like animal which matches the description above (about that size (if anything slightly bigger) and black), it crossed the path in front of me having run from the middle of the village green towards the bushes which edge the green, I was pretty sure it wasn't a Fox, scared the life out of me! Perhaps it was hunting rabbits on the village green? I hope this helps, if I see anything again I'll let you know, hope you find your dog!

Thanks so much for the feedback - I like to think that if it was Maggie, she would have found her way home from the green as she is used to walking there - her home is in Brackley Lane. I am so grateful that you took the time to report the sighting and will follow it up with more 'calling' for her in that area. She is a short dog, like a Jack Russell but with some collie and staffy features.

I've just been up there to have a look for myself and I did see a dog, but I dont think it was Maggie. I was standing at the fence looking over towards the rough ground with my back to the park on the Sanstone Close side. On the left hand side in the distance there is a load of big rocks and stones next to a pond or quarry or something. On top of the stones I could see a black and white dog, medium size. It had white down its flanks. When it saw me it jumped down and ran off. When I got closer, it was nowhere to be seen, but it didnt look like Maggie at all.
