Hi, is this an older picture? I found an Akita in Sussex on Friday night. It's a bit of a long shot. It was a boy, clearly looked after well but the chip is unregistered. It is with mid Sussex dog warden at the moment and was unclaimed today. I have a photo that I have posted to various local Facebook groups today but was doing a bit of internet work to see if I could track down someone who lost their dog recently. Definitely a boy and although frightened was very calm and gentle once he was reassured. Feel free to call me if that's helpful - 01444 891008. I know we are miles away bit if your boy was stolen I guess its possible and the markings are similar. He was similar to the dog on the left of your picture - I wasn't Clear if that was the boy or the girl. He had a white tail with a black/brown tip.
