Circumstances:	Came into our garden. Doesn’t want to leave! Been here all day. Seems hungry (eating butterflies in the garden and mewing at us. Is friendly and curious

Have you checked with Cat Protection Lost and Found Bournemouth Facebook page, in case they have a matching missing cat? Also, they can loan you a scanner and then they will be able to see if it is microchipped, they will contact its owner, so they can bring a carrier and pick it up from you. I had a cat turn up in my garden who was lost from not far away and this is how he was reunited with his Mum.

Hi Guys. Thanks for your suggestions. I have already registered him/her with cats protection. He has not appeared this morning so hopefully he has made his way home but it’s early days. We’ll see.
