FOUND At midnight last night we heard a faint meow on another street about 7 doors down behind us. I knew it was him ?? after lots of garden hopping we found him stuck very high up a tree. The owner of the house thought we were trying to rob them when she came home from work ?? She said she had a Japanese akita thats probably why he was up there. We tried everything to get him down but he was petrified and had no energy. Josh managed to put together a mini wooden ladder in about 15mins too see if he would climb down but no such luck. So I posted up bits of cheese and sardine up to him to give him some energy. I stayed with him until we managed to get some ladders at 6am. The fire brigade don't come out for this sort of thing anymore unless requested by the RSPCA but they have cut there service down due to covid so I couldn't get in touch with them. He has a wound on his side which looks like he's fallen in the tree and taken all his fur off. His little claws are red raw and he was shaking like a leaf. Once he was home he yammed two pouches of food quick as a flash and we went to bed. He hasn't left my side yet. Slept all morning bless him ?? Thank you too everyone who has shared my missing posts. I'm just so glad he's home but he's grounded for a while now ??
