Our cat went missing recently and we found him hiding in a hedge less than 20m from our back door. We think he got scared by a dog, hid in the hedge and froze in fear. So maybe check near your house, we must have walked past our cat in his hiding place 20 times while calling his name before he poked his head out for less than a second! Ours never goes far either so that is why I am hoping your cat is nearby too. Best wishes.

Thanks. I really hope she’s somewhere local and in good health.

Looks like she’s been stuck somewhere as dirty, hungry with minor abrasions
