Hi Shanika, Not good news but you need to check this out. Someone posted that there was a dead black cat on the M32 roundabout on the 30th Jan. We went down and searched on foot (at night and the next morning) but the cat wasn't anywhere to be seen plus the lady who reported it said it was quite a big cat. Ours is small. I truly hope it's not your cat and (if he's chipped surely they'd notify you) but try Bristol City Council.

My cat is small too, she looks like a big kitten x
DTYM
DTYM
That's good news. I'll let you know if I see her. Seventh day adventist church wouldn't let me inside the church to look for my missing cat.
DTYM
Shanika
Sometimes I wonder if they’re even christens in there!! So pathetic! How long has your cat been missing?
DTYM

Since the 23rd Dec. Small sleek male with a black flea collar. He's microchipped and we've put up posters but beginning to lose hope.

I meant 3oth December on original post.

Oh gosh, I think ppl are searching for black cats. I just read a post on fb where a couple in a grey Audi A3 are stealing cats, they tried to take their cat called sooty, I’m gussying it’s a black cat too x
DTYM
Shanika
Guessing^

Tried to look that up online and could only find thefts of catalytic converters. (referred to as "Cat Theft") so maybe it's just one of those mis-translated rumours. There must be so many black cats they could adopt. It sounds nuts. Keep hoping. A few years back I lost a cat for 4 months. The people who rang us had been seeing him in the garden but had finally managed to catch him long enough to get our phone number from his collar before he ran away but he came out as soon as he heard our voices.

I should add that I think I've seen the cat feeding lady. She's not malicious, just misguided.
DTYM
Shanika
Where does that lady live? And who is she?
DTYM
DTYM
I don't know. I usually see her outside Super Mashriks.
DTYM
Shanika
Unsure where that is x

I just got an email from Adventist church apologising and inviting me to come in to look for my cat. I don't think he's in there but it restores my faith in humans. :)

Hi Shanika. My other half just got another message about another black cat on ramp from M32. He /she is on the right when you're coming up to the St Pauls roundabout on the grass just after the fence ends. You can only see him on foot and you're not allowed to walk on that verge. He's not ours and I hope he's not yours but maybe you can get cats protection people to collect him. Someone will need closure.
DTYM
Shanika
I’m currently here, by the church or by the sports centre? X
DTYM
DTYM
Sorry. left computer for a while. Mike says actually on the roundabout off the motorway. You can't stop there. He went back and searched on foot. Says there's a fence to the grass verge and he's on the grass where the fence ends. Might be safer to ask police to come and look with you.
DTYM
DTYM
Or RSPCA? If not Onyx then someone will need closure. :(
DTYM
Shanika
Is it dead or alive? I can’t see nothing at all. And I’m on the motorway, subway, for path, it’s hard to explain to someone where to look and not even I know lol x
DTYM
DTYM
Hi Shanika, Mike's gone to work now. He said it was coming off the M32 onto the St pauls roundabout. Said it's illegal to stop there as it's still Mway I think. He says the grass verge is fenced off and he's just past the end of the fence. He saw the cat, drove on then walked back (illegally) Can you ring police or RSPCA and ask them to to look. He was very badly injured.
DTYM
Shanika
I’ve circled all around where you said and I see nothing, police cannot do nothing, RSPCA is a answer machine, it’s so much quicker for me to get to the cat myself and rake it to the vets before it dies, it could be another persons cat and I’m trying to save it x
DTYM
Shanika
Your husband is my last resort now, is there anyway he could direct me to the location after work?? Xx
DTYM
DTYM
Sorry Shanika, I thought the "closure" comment would have told you that this cat is dead. That's why I suggested RSPCA to collect him and give you closure if it is him. I'm so sorry for anyone who owns him and hoping it isn't you. From what my husband said, he would have died instantly so someone must have moved him onto the grass. I hope it's not Onyx.
DTYM
DTYM
Unfortunately he works as the chef in a late night bar. Won't be home till 2am. I can get him to contact you in AM.
DTYM
Shanika
All I know is, it’s definitely not there no more. Suppose it’s a waiting game now. I wish I got a pic of the cat first, didn’t want a fox to take it. If he could contact me tomorrow that would be great x
