Markings:	None
Circumstances:	Rico is an outdoor cat who almost never strays far from home, frequently coming in for water, food and cuddles. On the day he went missing he had been let outside after having some lunch and never returned for dinner or for bed time. This has happened twice in the past but both times he was back by midnight or early morning. By Sunday morning he still wasn't home, we spent the day searching and have found nothing so far. Nothing today (Monday) either, so now we are really worried, as we can't hear his bell in the row of gardens behind our house, and this is just so unlike him. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Other info:	Distinctly grumpy face but absolutely loveable.

Please be aware a man is making hoax calls claiming to be a vet at RSPCA and demanding money for treatment. Please be careful if the RSPCA had your car they would know the chip number and they would not ask for money over the phone. I know of 2 people who have been called probably many more. :( Hope you get your cat back soon.

Hey Reggie, Thanks so much for the heads up and the kind wishes. I was actually contacted by the same lowlife just 10 minutes after posting my listing. I knew he was scamming though so I wasted his time with fake credit card information and pretended to be not too bright when talking to him. By the end of it I told him I was wasting his time and to do something better with his life other than scamming people who are distraught over the loss of their pet. Gave him a good piece of my mind , the pr**k

Glad you retaliated. Well done. Sadly at least one person handed over the money. Hope you find Rico soon. It’s worth checking your chip details on the database by the way and letting them know Rico is missing also try Celia Hammond in case anyone has reported a cat to them as takes awhile for people to realise a cat might be lost. I will share on Twitter.

Awful to hear that he got someone with the scam, what a scumbag. On a brighter note, thank you so much for your help Reggie, it's really appreciated. Any help with finding Rico really means the world to us. I have already reported him as missing on his chip so fingers crossed he finds his way to a vet or a shelter that will scan him, I've contacted Celia Hammond as well . Thanks again for the help Reggie, have a nice evening mate.

Rico just waltzed back into the house as if nothing had happened. It's been a stressful 9 days that he's been missing, and the support from everyone in the community was more than inspiring.
