Markings:	Striped head and neck with spots along its back and sides. Long black stripe along its back. Shiny coat
Circumstances:	This cat appears during the hours of darkness up until after dawn. It hangs about in my driveway and courtyard and loiters outside my back door. It tries to get into the house even though we are strangers! We have a female cat of our own and the Mau seems attracted to her: I'm concerned as she is recovering from a serious illness and does not like stress. The cat seems nimble and rolls on its tummy. Its very friendly but clearly belongs to someone else. I think it is lost.
Other info:	May be Egyptian Mau (according to my vet who saw the photo)

The cat has now disappeared. One person got in touch and asked for some extra photos but it wasn;t their cat. I have not seen the cat for several days. It is possible that my cat in the end frightened it off as although she has been ill she is quite territorial.
