Jeffrey jumped out car boot and escaped onto motorway. He was lost overnight and travelled to Milnthorpe 6 miles where he was spotted the following morning. He made his way back to the Travelodge Lodge at Burton M6 following day. Thanks to everyone involved in looking for him including Drone SAR, Jan, Emma and Sharon at DogLost, Cumbria Road Police, Westmorland Gazette, Mail and The Citizen, local radio channels and everyone on Facebook also all the local dog lovers who came out to help. Thanks to Kirsty at the Travelodge Burton for helping get Jeffrey into the Travelodge and securing him there. Jeffrey is now home safe and sound with his new owners and friend Ria in Scotland. We cannot thank everyone enough for saving Jeffrey as he is the biggest softy ever!
