Hi there, thanks for taking the time to respond and yes Haggis has still not come home and we miss him dreadfully (so does our other cat!) where did you see him (or one similar?)

Hi, just to let you know I also have a male bengal identical to yours, somebody mistook him today for your missing cat, just to make you aware that although someone may think they have seen your cat, it may not actually be him. My bengal is 8 months old, and has a turquoise collar on with 2 x bells and a name tag, he is also microchipped, his name is Simba. I just thought I should let you know so that he doesn't accidentally get mistaken for yours, which would be so disheartening for you. We live on one of the roads off of stanmore, not sure if this is close enough to you for him to be mistaken. I will keep an eye out for your cat too and pray you find him.

Thanks Wendy, there's not that many Bengals around Carterton as they are very unusual and beautiful! thanks for letting me know as yes i do get my hopes up that somebody's found him. I'll try to stay positive as you do hear stories that cat's turn up after months away. The sad thing is he was quite a small Bengal and always came home and was a bit of a whimp as he never caught any 'wildlife' in his 2 1/2yrs not like my other one who brings in rabbits and all sorts. I just hope if he's found a new home they're looking after him.

hi there sorry but i did mistake your cat for wendy's as i spoke to her earlier. i will keep my eye out for your cat though. if its any consellation, i had a half bengal cat that just went completley wild and strayed 2 1/2 years ago and 2 nights ago he came home as if nothing had happened!!

Wow now that is spectacular. Thanks for keeping an eye out, i know he's only a cat but i do worry what's happened to him. I know it wouldn't have been nice but if i'd found him at the side of a rode or trapped somewhere at least thats closure if you know what i mean :-(

I'm so sorry for you that it wasn't your cat that was spotted. They are such attractive animals so lets just hope someone has pinched him, because of that, and he will manage to get free and come back to you. I know what you mean though about wanting the closure. I will let everyone who i work with and live near etc to keep an eye out too, and hope we can find him for you :(

good evening my son and his friend were out walking our dog around 11;30 am on Saturday 31 August by the Broadshires Health Centre and a cat very like the one in this picture started to stalk them and our dog. it ran off eventually towards the gym and swimming pool area. I hope that this is your cat and that you find him soon.
