I saw a cat just like this yesterday outside my house, no collar and green eyes, unfortunately I had the dogs with me and I couldn't go near it. I noticed it because it miaowed at me in the way cats do when they want attention. But i do know it is not one of the usual cats for my area. I have to keep an eye on all the cats around here as my dogs are obsessed with them! I live in Brize Norton Village on Station road just past Timms yard. The cat headed off in the direction of the base hanger between some cottages that back onto a field. Not sure if this is helpful at all?

Thank you. Do you know what time it was? I will come and look for her after work tonight. Unfortunately it's not until 8.30pm. If you see her again could you monitor where she is. Have been very worried. Many many thanks!!

It must have been around 3pm ish as we had just come back from the walk. If I see her again I will of course inform you. Hopefully when you come to look she will recognise your voice? There is a field with some wooded scrubby land at the back of our houses, it is accessible from a small lane by a dog waste bin, just along from Southmere. It leads towards the base. Unfortunately the fields nearest to our house are private and you would need permission from the owners to enter. But if you saw her there I'm sure they wouldn't mind. Good luck! I really hope she turns up safe and sound.

We saw fliss last night on St. John's drive in carterton. She ate some food but didn't want to follow us home or let us pick her up. So currently we know she is ok. I can't see her so far today but will try again when it's dark. Not sure how I can get her to come home.

At least she is ok, that's great news! Try bringing a cat carrier and leaving some tuna or whatever her favourite food is at the back of it, then you just have to wait patiently for her to go in and eat, then close the door quietly and carefully, so as not to spook her further. Obviously where she was startled she has become a bit wary. Hope it all works out ok, if you can't catch her then maybe one of the animal rescue centres could offer some help?

Thank you for your advice. I will try that tonight. I took the carry case last night but she didn't seem to like it. Will try that before I give her any food separately. Good idea about the animal centres too. May end up contacting them if she's still out in a few days.

Fliss is home! She went into her cat carrier to sleep and luckily the neighbour called. Very happy she's back.

Left her cat carrier where we had seen her. She went to sleep inside and so our kind neighbour called us to let us know she was there.
