’m just wondering if you found your cat? There’s a deceased grey tabby found in Wakefield, thought it was my missing cat at first but mine is male & this one is female, I was looking on here trying to find my lost grey tabby & stumbled upon your post which reminded me of the Facebook post I’d seen. I hope you have found your cat though! Liz

Hi liz. Thank you for thinking of Misty. Unfortunately she has never come home and we’ve had no reports of her at all. You are the first. Do you have a pic of the cat. Where was she located? Had she been taken to a vets as she is chipped.

Hmm, says isn’t chipped so can’t be Misty. There is a photo I can copy from FB & send if you like, a bit harrowing though

A61 Barnsley Road, Sandal, Wakefield Sadly I have collected a beautiful grey deceased female tabby this morning on Barnsley Road near Milnthorpe Drive. Puss isn't chipped and has no collar. Vet estimates age between 5 and 8 years Now resting at Chantry Vets on Batley Road, Alverthorpe, Wakefield for seven days RIP puss ????… this is the post.

It’s possible for chips to move, I’ve heard all sorts of stories about them. She’s be 8 this year but was a very young looking cat for her age. She was so friendly and could have possibly got into someone’s car. If I could see the pic I’d possibly have a better idea?
