He came home after 2 days - many thanks to all searchers. But he had been injured and is inow n hospital awaiting an operation. He may not make it, but all the same it is better than searching hopelessly for a small corpse in a ditch!

Many thanks for sympathetic comment. I am afraid it ended sadly. He went into the veterinary hospital at Solihull and they did all they could, including an operation, but concluded he could never be restored to normal life. So my darling kitten had to be put to sleep. He had had a happy life. At least he had known to come home - we did not have the sadness of searching and searching and never knowing..
