Charlie
Name: Charlie
Breed & Species: Domestic short-haired cat
Colour: Tabby
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 6 years ago
(05 March 2018 at around 10:00hrs)
Location: Calow, Chesterfield S44 5FH, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 10 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: Dark tabby mainly blk and very dark brown stripes, Paws white chest white face mainly white, Pink nose long tail, shiny short haired fur very slinky
Circumstances: We have lived on this new development since Oct 2017. For the first 3 weeks we kept Charlie in the house, then for three weeks we took him on a harness so that he would get used to his surroundings. When we let him out he was fine, he came in several times a day for some food but always came home around 8 pm. He would always be sitting there and we would always be watching for him. On the 5th of March, in the morning about 11 am I saw him in the back garden and started to worry when he hadn't returned by 12noon. I went out around the streets and called him but he had disappeared. Because we live on a new development there are lots of builders vans and contractors vans coming and going every day. I am worried he may have climbed into a van if so he could be anywhere. All the workmen know him and have checked their vans and empty sheds and buildings but he is not there.
Other info: He is a very playful cat and is not timid He has a mainly white tummy, but no white on his tail Everyone tells me he is a real cutie. He is a handsome cat

Charlie has now been missing. 8 months There has been no information from the area I live in. I am wondering if Charlie has climbed into one of the many vans which are parked around my house, There is a small development of houses being built opposite mine I think that there is a possibility that Charlie may have explored several of these vans and the driver could have closed the door of the van not knowing Charlie was inside. Therefore he could be in any area. I have no idea how I will find him unless the search area is widened considerably. Has anyone any suggestions or advice to help me proceed from here. Any information or any help you animal lovers can give me might just make the difference between me and Charlie being together again. I am so desperately unhappy, and I miss Charlie so much. If I knew Charlie was taken home by a driver and was well looked after and is happy and being treated well I would still long for him to be home with me It would ease the heartbreak of feeling so helpless because its the not knowing where he is, and what has happened to him thats the worst feeling. If anyone has seen him maybe a kind neighbour is feeding him. thinking Charlie is a stray. If he resembles Charlie please explain gently that Charlie may be my cat and tell her how desperately sad I am. He is microchipped so if you could persuade the person to take Charlie to the vets to be scanned, or if you volunteered to take him yourself you may be the person who brings my Charlie home Please, everyone, keep looking for my Charlie, he could be anywhere, he may have even settled down with another family so you might think it could not be Charlie. If you have any doubts whatsoever please get in touch with Pets United on 01246 277417 and they will take over from there. Please make sure you leave your details with them because there is a substantial reward for Charlie's safe return. Please help bring Charlie back home safely and please remember he could be anywhere
