Lost dog: Ginger Terrier X dog called Teddy - Chigwell area, Essex

Age:	11 years old (approx)

Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	White flash on chest.
Circumstances:	Teddy was tied up outside the newsagents on Manor Road whilst my mother went inside for a moment. A man walked outside the door - e are unsure of whether or not he approached the dog, but Teddy is VERY scared of males. He panicked and slipped his collar, then running across the road and disappearing into the fields at the back of the new housing estate (next to the cemetery).
Other info:	Envelope ears. Short and sturdy. Wiry, wavy coat (thick), tan coloured fur with white flash on chest. Small, stubby tail. We think that he is a cross between a Lakeland and a Patterdale. He weighs around 11-12 kilos. Teddy is very, VERY jumpy and nervous - particularly of men. Teddy is NOT wearing a collar - he slipped this.

So sorry Teddy s missing. He probably will stay near where he got out away unless he can find his way home. Have you checked on Doglost too? Will share on Twitter and hope you get him back soon.

Teddy was spotted by a man walking his dog, who let us know that he had seen a dog that may have been him. We we went to see, it WAS him - he had clearly been trying to make his way home, but had been blocked. Unfortunately, he seems to have injured his leg, so he may have been hit by a car as he ran across the road on the day that he got lost.
