Circumstances:	I was taking Gravy to the Vets, but he broke through the hamper and started to run down Dale Street.

You need to really blitz the area with leaflets knock on every door you can

Put posters I. High footfall areas not just local put up in high street & supermarkets

Put contents of vacuum in a trail leading to home! Better still used litter! Or your own pee in a water bottle squirt it around area leading home or cut up a t shirt you e worn into tiny pieces & leave a trail it must have your scent on so wear for a while

Most cats found lately have been locked in houses! Builders leave window open cat gets in then builders close window!! Check all homes with builders in call through letter box early hours of morning! Or any home that is vacant ie occupants on holiday ! Cats get in then are locked in house starving for two weeks or more

Also go out looking 2-5am best time take treat tin & call for him then be quiet he won’t come running out just because you are his owner he is scared & wary so listen in the silence of early morning for tiny meows & build up calling him & shaking treat tin I would even take a feather on stick toy & drag along street see if he jumps out

These are brilliant they found my friends cat as they worked out he’d walked into strange gardens when a wall was taken down but by evening a temporary hoarding went up leaving cat trapped! They are retired police detectives http://thepetdetectives.com/about_us.php

As for the blood in his stool. The gland where a cat sprays swollen. The Vet popped them. The Vet said, “Watch him and if that did not work he will need an operation.”
