Circumstances:	He plays in our garden and the neighbours' up to two or three gardens across. He always comes when called, but didn't come back today.
Other info:	Very friendly and purrs loudly, even at the vet's.

He never usually goes out of earshot, or stays out for more than an hour or two. He normally responds loudly when called, but didn't seem to be anywhere in the immediate neighbourhood. On this occasion, he was out for 38 hours, in cold weather, then came in through the cat flap. He might have been hiding somewhere sheltered, or have been accidentally shut in someone's house - he seems to be fine.
