Lost cat: Ginger cat called George - Colchester area, Essex

Markings:	White tipped tail
Circumstances:	He did run away scared of the car journey from home (Colchester) to my work place (Dedham) where he did run from. We did set an infrared camera on the 21st April and he got caught on camera that night (not sure from the footages if he still had his collar- turquoise- and tag still on). He had not returned since. on the 26th we got a message from someone who found a dead male ginger cat on Clacton Road (Manningtree), not far. They had found this male cat on the 24th April, and stated he had a collar, but they could not tell the colour of the collar (they had covered him with a blanket and the next day they said the cat had been taken but we have no trace of who had taken it and where to, therefore unable to establish if this poor dead cat was ours.
Other info:	Slender, White tipped tail, would come closer if offered food

George had travelled 11 miles in 7 weeks all the way towards home and been fed for a few days from a lady living in a care house 5 minutes away from our home. A nurse from the care house took pictures of George and posted them on Colchester lost cats Facebook page which is where people started tagging me as they could see similarities... Rest is history.
