Just seen an Alexandrine Parakeet in Long Buckby Wharf this morning. It has been about for the past couple of weeks but assumed it was the regular ring necked parakeet had returned. I have a picture of it on my phone.

Seen a parakeet, what looks like it could be Rio, around the Horncastle Close & Marston Way areas. Flying in and out of trees in the green areas there.

Was flying around pretty much all day today. Not seen it around before.

Spotted and filmed a Parakeet matching the description about an hour ago on the Edgehill Drive, Hopton Close junction, Lang Farm. So seems to be staying around the area and looking healthy!!

Hi, i think Rio came into our garden this morning. we have a bird feeder and she was eating from it before she flew away. we live in Lang Farm and she looked healthy. my mum has some photos on her phone, though they arent the best quality. Hopefully now that Rio knows there is a bird feeder in our garden she may come back so we'll keep an eye out for her
