Circumstances:	The cat followed me up the track when I took the dog out but it did not make any attempt to leave my area to return home, so I assumed it had forgotten where it lived.

I decided to adopt the cat when no owner came forward to claim her. She has been checked over by a vet with the help of Cats Protection, and there was definitely no microchip to identify where she had come from.
