I would recommend taking him to the Didcot Abivale vets as they can scan him to see if he has a microchip, which may enable them to identify the owner. If he is not chipped and has no collar, there is a chance he is a stray. The vets will be able to help with advice about what you should do. They are located just along the road from Tesco, on the left next to the golf club.

Thanks Liz. I can't get that close to him, so not much chance of catching him! I've contacted the cats protection to see if they have a trap I could use. I don't want to cause him too much stress (he's very nervous of people), but he has a number of ailments, the latest being his watery eye.
