Bit of a long shot - but did you ever find this cat? A silver tabby male stray has just been handed in to Larkmead vet in Didcot. There is a photo of him on their Facebook page (see post of 19th Dec: http://www.larkmead.co.uk/content/larkmead-veterinary-group-facebook).
