Harry has now been found,3 months after he went missing. He walked into a shop on the broadway in Didcot and is now being treated at the vets as he is not very well, which u would expect from living rough for 3 months.

We're very pleased Harry made it home. Here's a little more information from his owner:"He is getting better slowly. Apparently he walked in to the Value shop on the Didcot Broadway (6 miles from where we live!) and sat himself down by their heater! They gave him some food and then took him to Larkmead Vets where they scanned him, found the microchip and traced him back to us. Never expected to get a phone call after all this time. We can only think that he got in the back of the postman's van as he parks outside our house and then found himself in Didcot. He was in a bit of a state,as u would expect from living rough for 3 months, covered in fleas, very very thin and weak (don't think he would have made it through another cold night) with a nasty absess in his mouth. The vets put him on a drip and gave him antibiotics and painkillers and when i saw him today he was much better, still has a long way to go but we will get there. He is coming home tomorrow :-)"This report is now closed.
