Hi Sara I live locally to you I can help you look for your cat. Have you tried searching in the road where the collar was found this could mean that the collar had just fallen off at that point what type of collar was he wearing? Have you tried contacting Ealing Council incase he's been picked up had an accident I hope not but I'm just covering all areas, leagally they should keep a log book Have you called all vets local within Ealing Northfields and Southall just incase a cats been handed in. Please feel free to pm me via fb on Suzanneclarev. This site is the one that RSPCA and vets use mostly. www.petslocated.com I will look out for him for you. Good luck Clare

Thanks so much, I’ll register him on petslocated now. I haven’t spoken to the council yet but have alerted the vets, he is chipped so hopefully if he was brought into the vets they would be able to scan him.

In terms of his collar he has been able to unclip it himself before so it is possible he did it himself, so we have looked up and down that road and the surrounding roads many times, but we will continue to do so. His name is Mlem and he usually responds to it, so if you do happen to spot a black cat when you’re out and about the area, try calling his name and see if that gets his attention!
