Sighted hiding in a foxes den behind house on Tue 21st June. He was terrified of anyone but coming slightly out to eat. He is a rescue cat and getting clipped by car may have reignited previous trauma of humans 😔 He was so scared he had made himself semi feral. Placed water and blankets in his lair he made as he felt safe there. Kept food at home with a camera set up. As we thought he came back to eat, likely would of scarpered back out fast but camera alerted us and we were able to get home and close window before he left again! 🙏 Letting him settle before getting checked over by vet. Then we plan to keep him in for several weeks to learn to trust and feel safe again.
