LOST
Hannibal/Hanny-Bee
Name: Hannibal/Hanny-Bee
Breed & Species: Domestic short-haired cat
Colour: Black
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 2 years ago
(13 April 2022 at around 22:00hrs)
Location: Firs Lane, London N13 5QQ, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 3 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: Faint white spot on chest
Circumstances: He stayed out later than usual and was seen in the garden after eating; he then went off for a wander, and after calling him decided to use the wedge we use for his window access point in place for him. I stayed up for 2 hours and called again, brought treats out and then reassured myself he'd come in as he always does. The window was closed in the morning and so was my flatmates... He was fed but he would have been upset about having his access cut off at night, when i always keep him in.
Other info: He's an 8 month old male so he's lost his 'kitten looks' but he's still noticeably smaller than an adult. He's growing so he's body is slender and long; his face is a 'defined' so he has pointed eyes and nose. But his most distinguishing feature is his age and the white spot on the chest that's very faint, and easy to overlook.

Neighbours informed me that an ad/alert on an app I now have called Nextdoor had been put up regarding a lost and distressed young cat. It included pictures and and contact number; the individual was contacted and I visited their home (they had been keeping under their care by leaving food out) and he was identified as Hannibal. He is now safe and home with his family.
