LOST
Name: [Name Withheld]
Breed & Species: Domestic short-haired cat
Colour: Black
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 4 years ago
(16 May 2019 at around 00:00hrs)
Location: Holloway, Pershore WR10 1HP, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 15 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: Tip of right ear injury/damage
Circumstances: I have just returned from holiday and found my cat has been missing since 16th May. My neighbour was feeding/checking him twice daily in my absence and reported upon my return not seeing him since 16th May. Another neighbour was having some house and garden work done apparently and it is understood my cat was spooked by their noise. It is very unusual for my cat to stay out longer than 30mins so 10days is a worry. He is a very nervous cat who does not like unfamiliar individuals or being picked up. He is microchipped - 985154000079090 although this has not been checked recently to see if it still works. He is black, aged 10years and has a distinctive injury/damage to the tip of his right ear. He was not wearing a collar on the date of is disappearance.
Other info: Was a large cat on date of disappearance. Was not wearing a collar on date of disappearance. Very nervous and timid cat around new individuals.

After a couple of days putting up posters locally, distributing 'lost cat, check shed/garage etc' flyers to residents within a x1mile radius, hang out scented bedding on washing line and pounding the streets dawn and dusk calling my cats name, my cat returned home. I do not know which action caused him to return but I would strongly advise undertaking of them all. It is possible he had been shut in somewhere as he had lost weight and was very thirsty upon his return.
