Circumstances:	Cat seemed lost or curious, maybe confused as to location, cat jumped over some railings. Cat meowed at me a few times so I went to the cat but the cat would not come out from behind the railings, I tried for ages. Didn't know what to do. Cat ran off.
Other info:	Have not seen this cat before on my usual route so, wondered if it was lost/new to area. Cat did meow at me a few times. I couldn't figure the cats temperament ?

The "simple colour" is NOT brown, looks like grey tabby and white. Don't think I can change that now.

I’ve lost a grey and white tabby cat nearly 4 months ago from Hook area in Hampshire. He was a big cat, name is Ronnie. Male but neutered. Did have a pink collar but would have lost it by now!

Do you think that is your cat in the picture? I don't think it sounds like your cat because I don't think the cat is big and the cat did not have a pink collar. The cat had a collar and there is one thing I left out, which the owner would know. I hope you find your cat

I thought it looked like him but it’s hard to tell how big the cat is in the photo and also hard to see the markings. Thanks anyway.

You're welcome. This cat has a distinctive collar, the owner will know what I mean. You could screenshot the image and zoom to take a better look at the cat's face to see if it is your cat but I doubt it is your cat. I hope you find your cat.

Hi Roz, my missing cat looks very similar, same tabby colour and brown nose. But she was not wearing a collar when she went missing. I just wanted to rule out that this is not my cat. So please if you see the cat again or have more pics, please let me know. I would attach a pic of my missing cat here but there’s no attachment option

They look very similar. This cat has a mark on the nose area, your cat has a mark on the side of the nose. I remember seeing your cats posters

Sorry... I heard a guy put his worn t-shirt outside and his cat came back - I don't know if it's true/if it really was the t-shirt that did it but cats have a strong sense of smell. I don't know. It's horrible having a missing pet.

If your cat is Microchipped, call Petlog: 01296 737600 so that they can flag your cat as missing, and also to check any 'found cat' reports in your area, (lines are open 365 days a year 24/7). Or visit: www.petlog.org.uk - Every vet and rescue centre knows of Petlog and they are nearly always the first port of call when a lost animal is brought in. If your cat's microchip is registered with a different company, inform them also. You can find out which database holds your pet's details by using the 'Check a chip' facility at identibase.co.uk

Hi I am a scan ange, I live locally and have seen this cat a few times over the past few months in Wilmington Square, exactly the same as your sighting, goes in the bushes and wanders around, I assumed he/she was owned by someone in the square. I will carry my scanner with me and if I see them again I will attempt to scan and update x

Hi, months? I haven't seen this cat before. The cat ran off towards the front gardens of the houses on the main road so dangerous! (See my other message I replied to yours under the "found" white cat)
