FOUND CAT: Black and white cat - Greenford area, Ealing

Sorry for not getting back sooner but this site seems a bit more difficult and slower than others I've used.

The cat in question has a black and white body ( a bit like a cow's markings) with a black tail. Its ears ,top of head and top half of face and the bridge of its nose are black. The cheeks and bottom half of face , under chin, neck , chest and tummy are white, but it has a very distinctive black "thumb print" area under the chin. All its legs are mainly white but on the back of each white back leg it has an obvious black dot/thumb print . It is very nervous so I can't get a photo at moment. I will keep a close eye on this site for your reply and I'm happy to give any more information/help I can. Please let me know whether or not it could be your cat.

just had this cat at my house again today - briefly - and noticed the "body" is more black than white - if this helps with identification. Other than that the description is as I said before, especially the very distinctive black "smudges/thumbprint "areas under chin and on back of back legs.

Hi David, re the missing cat. I have my own cat and this cat is very nervous of coming near me or my cat, even though it sits outside the front door in the early hours of the morning. I'm not very good with uploading photos on computers but if I open a door or window to try to take a photo the cat runs off.( Plus I've got leaded windows so difficult to get a decent photo without opening a window). But this cat has ; black ears top of head, forehead, upper half of face and bridge of nose. The lower half of face, cheeks, under chin , throat, chest and underside are white. The body is black and white (mainly black), with black tail. White front and back legs with an obvious black "thumbprint/mark" on the back of each white back leg, plus same obvious black mark on the white under-chin area. If I get a photo I'll let you know and try to add it to this site.Do you have a photo of this cat or a photo on this site (or any other site) that I can see ? + please feel free to contact me by phone if easier but had problems with emails from this site so please let me if your cat or not - Tony

Hi Clarev - just seen your message. This cat has been hanging around here for nearly a year now - will be around for a month then disappears for a month or so then comes back.I don't have any photos of this cat but it's quite a large cat, black and white body ( like a black and white cow ). It has black ears, top half of head and top half of face including bridge of nose. White cheeks/ lower half of face , under chin, throat , chest and under belly .But has a distinctive large black dot/smudge on the white under -chin area. Has white legs with a black dot/smudge on back of both back legs and a black tail. Very nervous of people and cats. You emailed me in March last year , and this is the cat I described then. It looks a bit heavier now but I'm not sure if that's because it fur is " fluffed up" more because of the cold weather. I saw a face book link in your second email, but I don't have a facebook account. If you have any photos of the cat please send them to me or tell me if I can find them on any missing pet website and I'll have a look. Hope this info helps, all the best, Tony

Hi ,just incase you didn't get my reply to your pm I can be 100% certain that my "stray" is NOT Louisa . My stray has totally different body markings - much more white on body - and is black over the bridge of the nose where Louisa is white.Good luck in finding her and I will keep an eye out for her.
