Lost cat: Black and white cat called Simba - Guildford area, Surrey

Location:	Shepherds Lane, Guildford GU2 9SJ, UK
Health:	Healthy
Age:	8 years old (approx)
Sex:	Neutered Male
Collar:	Silver (reflective)
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	Mainly black with white underneath his chin
Circumstances:	Last seen in our house at 5pm, and then he went outside. He doesn't normally go further than our nearest neighbours. When we tried calling him in for dinner at 6pm (he normally comes running!) there was no sign. We did a street walk in the evening to check roads and under bushes. By the next day we printed leaflets to put through all our neighbours doors in case he was locked in a garage/shed somewhere. It was the first hot day in a long time so perhaps lots of people had their sheds open.

I don't want to get your hopes up as we are quite a distance from you (in Springfield Rd GU1) and it could be completely unrelated, but over the past week a thin black and white cat that I haven't seen before (we have several cats in our street) has come into our house on two occasions (presumably looking for food) only to be chased hurriedly out by our cat. I didn't notice too many details as he was flashing by me but he was wearing a collar (I thought perhaps black??) so just assumed that he belonged to a neighbour. I have printed off your poster so if he does come back a third time, I will try to trap him inside or at least try to have a better look to see if he may match Simba's description. I will also have a little wander around the neighbourhood to see if I can spot him. Vicki

Hi everyone Simba has just appeared looking very dishevelled and sorry for himself. He's obviously been trapped somewhere as he's very thin so it's a trip to the vets for us! Thanks to everyone for keeping an eye out x

Simba appeared but very thin and dishevelled. He has a long cut across his back and covered in urine and faeces so he's obviously been trapped somewhere.
