Went missing:	2 years ago (28 December 2021 at around 17:00hrs)
Location:	Ryde's Hill Road, Guildford GU2 9SP, UK
Health:	Healthy
Age:	6 years old
Sex:	Neutered Male
Collar:	No
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	Long tail. Left front leg is kinked at the foot end and right front leg's inner claw does not retract fully. When he walks, the claw sort of extends
Circumstances:	I gave Mephy his tea and let him out as usual at around 17:30. I started calling him to come in from around 19:30 onwards but, he diidn't return and he wasn't outside waiting for his breakfast in the morning. He has never gone missing before.
Other info:	Not very vocal, usually only meows when he wants to go outside.

My cat is NOT microchipped. I was convinced he was when I took him on two years ago but, my vet confirms that he was not.

I received a phone call this morning from a lady visiting her mother, who lives about a quarter of a mile away from me, the other side of a busy main road. Both were sure Mephy was in the area, as he had been appearing when her mother puts food out for foxes. I took cat basket and treat box and only had to call Mephy two or three times before he appeared, slowly and warily. Not dirty and not lost weight. He's now grounded until I can get him micro chipped.
