Barely 24 hours after posting, the owners contacted us and there was an emotional reunion. Excellent site.

Owner telephoned at 6pm. Lived about half a mile away across a busy road. I suggested they come over to see. They immediately recognised the cat (Jasper) and it readily responded to them. There was an emotional reunion as they had not expected to see Jasper again.

Hi Nick, Jasper had been missing for about seven weeks from an estate the other side of a busy main road. I thought it was feral as it was scared and nervous. I gave it only occasional scraps for the first 10 days or so but it seemed intent on staying - mostly on the roof of our shed/workshop. I bought some food and it soon established a routine of expecting breakfast but would still not come near.
